Vince Jones Masterclass

Helpmann Academy and the Elder Conservatorium of Music are hosting an exclusive masterclass with Australia’s leading jazz vocalist, Vince Jones.

Vince Jones has been tantalising audiences with his smooth tones and velvety vocals for over 40 years. He is also a composer and distinctive jazz trumpet player.

Jones grew up listening to his musician father’s collection of great jazz albums. The feel, style and essence of the music became a natural extension of Jones’ world and influenced his musical journey. In 1981 Vince Jones recorded his debut album, Watch What Happens. He has gone on to release over 20 albums since then and collaborate with many iconic Australian musicians including Kate Ceberano and Paul Grabowsky.

Please note that this exclusive Vince Jones masterclass is only open to current Elder Conservatorium students and graduates (within five years of graduation).
