Selected visual artists from Adelaide University* and Flinders University will showcase their graduate works at our iconic annual event at SASA Gallery.
The Graduate Exhibition is open to artists of all disciplines including ceramics, glass, installation, jewellery, moving image, painting, photo media, photography, printmaking, sculpture and textiles.
The Helpmann Academy Graduate Exhibition has a long history of being a launch pad for the next generation of artistic talent in our state.
We invite you on Thursday 12 February to immerse yourself in the exhibition and award ceremony, and join us in celebrating the strongest creative talent emerging from SA’s contemporary art scene and meet some of the most exciting artists on the rise.
Exhibiting artists will be eligible for a wide range of awards which will be presented on the opening night of the exhibition.
We look forward to welcoming you to the fabulous exhibition space at SASA Gallery.

*Adelaide University opens in January 2026, drawing on the combined strengths and legacies of the University of South Australia (UniSA) and the University of Adelaide. Adelaide University artists exhibiting at the 2026 Helpmann Academy Graduate Exhibition may include graduates who have completed a UniSA Bachelor of Contemporary Art, Bachelor of Creative Arts (Honours), or another approved creative degree. These degrees continue to be offered at Adelaide University and can be found here.
