Join Oskar Eustis, Artistic Director of the Public Theater New York for this exclusive lecture. Presented by Flinders University in collaboration with the Helpmann Academy, we are delighted to invite you to an exclusive guest lecture by Oskar Eustis, Artistic Director of the Public Theatre, New York on Friday 3 March, 2.30pm at the Adelaide Festival Centre Banquet Room.

Oskar Eustis has been instrumental in the development of numerous landmark works of American theatre, including Tony Kushner’s Angels in America, and Lin Manuel Miranda’s Hamilton.

In this unique lecture event, Oskar will share his insights into the collaborative processes that transform a brilliant idea into a global success, with Helpmann Academy students, staff and alumni, and South Australian artists.

Oskar has served as the artistic director of The Public Theater since 2005, after serving as the artistic director at Trinity Repertory Company in Providence, RI from 1994 to 2005.

Throughout his career, Oskar has been dedicated to the development of new work that speaks to the great issues of our time and has worked with countless artists in pursuit of that aim, including Tony Kushner, Suzan-Lori Parks, David Henry Hwang, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Richard Nelson, Rinne Groff, Tarell Alvin McCraney, and Lisa Kron. He is currently a professor at New York University and has held professorships at UCLA, Middlebury College, and Brown University.
