HA>NESS membership

The Helpmann Academy offers HA>NESS membership as a philanthropic program for young professionals.

All HA>NESS benefits and prices are subject to change.

Cancellation

A HA>NESS membership is ongoing. It will continue after the 12-month Minimum Term unless you select to cancel your membership. Any cancellation of a membership must be actioned before the expiry of the Minimum Term.

Cancellation can be done online, or by informing the Helpmann Academy in writing via email to:

ha_ness@helpmannacademy.com.au or by mail to: Suite 417, level 4, 147 Pirie Street, Kaurna Yerta, Adelaide SA 5000.

Where neither you nor we terminate your membership, any unpaid fees will need to be paid by you and in addition any fees incurred in our taking action to recover the outstanding payments.

The Helpmann Academy is not liable if you cannot use your membership due to anything beyond our reasonable control.

Purchases and Refunds

The Helpmann Academy provides a secure website and payment gateway in accordance with Australian industry standards. All orders are encrypted for your security and privacy. All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD).

Renewals of HA>NESS membership cannot be considered complete, and access to benefits and services cannot be guaranteed until payment has cleared.

The Helpmann Academy accepts Visa, Mastercard, direct deposit. Please contact us to pay by cheque or money order.

Contributions to HA>NESS are not refundable or transferable, unless at the sole discretion of the Helpmann Academy.

Membership benefits may not be refunded, resold, exchanged, or transferred.

Because the circumstances which may require a refund or transfer are likely to vary with each individual request, we must assess requests for refunds or transfer on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us and we will be happy to discuss your needs.

Membership by Instalment

The Helpmann Academy allows members to break down the fee for their membership into smaller monthly payments over the 12-month Minimum Term. However, all membership payments must be honoured for the Minimum Term.

Any cancellation of a membership before the end of the Minimum Term does not negate the members responsibility to honour the fee for the Minimum Term.

Code of Conduct

By subscribing to become a HA>NESS member you agree to operate under the following guidelines when interacting with staff, industry professionals and fellow members. Staff and member wellbeing is of primary

concern and as such the Helpmann Academy supports the rights of all our staff and members to live, work, and create in a safe environment free from harassment, abuse, and danger.

The Helpmann Academy retains the right to terminate or reject a membership if you are found to be in breach of our Code of Conduct. This termination may be without reimbursement.

In your dealings with the Helpmann Academy, its operations, and services, you will:

  • Take personal responsibility for ensuring that you do not act in any way to undermine any person’s sense of safety, comfort, or control.
  • Always recognise a person’s right for privacy, dignity, and
  • Model positive and professional behaviour, expecting all whom you encounter will do the
  • Unless explicitly invited to do so, do not involve yourself in any part of a person’s life not directly relating to the work you are undertaking with them or the services you are receiving from the Helpmann Academy.
  • Not invade a person’s sense of person by knowingly undertaking any interaction or activity in a manner that is disrespectful or threatening.
  • Respect any rules and guidelines relating to an event, event venue, or
  • Conduct yourself in a manner that ensures that workplaces and event spaces are discrimination and sexual harassment free.

At the Helpmann Academy we strive to always make decisions that are fair, consistent, impartial, and based on merit. If you believe that you have been treated unfairly in our business, the following options are available:

  • Talk to Our CEO is available to take your call on (08) 7089 0720 and hear your concerns.
  • You may wish to put the matter in writing and email it through to

ha_ness@helpmannacademy.com.au with your area of concern in the subject header. Please be clear and explain what you want to happen to resolve the complaint.

At the Helpmann Academy we believe it is important to raise all concerns that may affect your involvement with HA>NESS as soon as possible.
